We are more than a marketplace. We are a platform for opportunity, a gathering place for community, and a stepping stone for entrepreneurs.
Anahola Marketplace (AMP) is a community-driven retail and small business hub located on Kauai’s east side.
Owned and operated by a Native Hawaiian non-profit, the Homestead Community Development Corporation (HCDC), dedicated to affordable housing, economic development and community capacity building. It is located on our Hawaiian Home Lands intended for homesteading, mercantile and community purposes.
AMP provides affordable retail space for local entrepreneurs to start, build and achieve their entrepreneurial aspirations. Our marketplace is built mostly from repurposed shipping containers, transformed into unique retail spaces for local vendors. From handmade goods to food, wellness, and other services, AMP is a place where small businesses take root and grow.
AMP provides community space for family gatherings, nonprofit events, and community festivals. It features a large pavilion, beautiful grounds and ample spaces to accommodate family functions, local artisans sharing their talents, and local nonprofits coordinating outreach.
